Hotel Villa Angela, Taormina Italy

We stayed for 4 nights at Villa Angela to attend a wedding in Taormina. The groom had visited a few days earlier to our stay to deliver a welcome present for us. He had to enquire re other guests in other hotels and commented that the staff at Villa Angela were most accommodating particularly Katherine. We also found her to be very helpful and interested in our stay - wanting to see photos etc. We had problems paying as the credit card link would not work -staff were very helpful in this and we eventually paid by BACS transfer once we were home so very trusting! The courtesy bus service is excellent and it was never too much trouble even if we were the only passengers. Breakfast & lunch was superb as were the waiting staff. Room was particularly comfortable and domestic staff very accommodating. Taxis were arranged for us to attend the wedding and our return on 2 occaisions was in the early hours but staff were waiting for us! The icing on the cake was the spectacular view we had of Etna from our room especially as it erupted during our stay - something we did not think we would ever see!
